Effectiveness of Acupuncture

At Seattle Family Acupuncture we practice Traditional Chinese Medicine, sometimes referred to as TCM.

Acupuncture may be somewhat new to many people in the United States, but Acupuncture is an essential part of traditional Oriental medicine, a system of medicine with a clinical history of over 2500 years.

The World Health Organization, National Institute for Health and a growing body of clinical studies show that Acupuncture can be effective in treating a variety of fertility issues and can provide great results for those whose treatment involves Assisted Reproductive Technology, such as
• Gynecological and fertility disorders
• Anxiety and stress during treatment for fertility issues
• Discomfort during ART procedures
• Side effects of fertility drugs
• Morning Sickness

Chinese herbs are natural substances that are prescribed carefully and tailored for each individual. Integrating herbs with acupuncture can optimize and accelerate the treatment plan.

Autumn’s Delights

Summer is a wonderful season, and many of us don’t look forward to the short days that Autumn brings. But Autumn contains its own delights.

After the vibrancy and activity of Summer, Autumn offers us a chance to slow down a bit and recharge.  Many of us find we get more sleep in the Autumn and may have to begin using our Alarm clocks to get out of bed in the dark hours of the morning.  Now the focus turns to keeping healthy and enjoying family and holidays.

Take time to savor the slower pace that Autumn can bring, drink in the Fall colors as leaves turn color.  Consider adding herbal formulas to keep energy strong and prevent seasonal illnesses.  Whole Foods, PCC, Super Supplements and grocery chains carry herbal products to maintain energy and boost your immune system this season and into the Winter.
